Lynnise Morning

Lynnise Morning, born Lynnise Cotton is the daughter of Laymon and Flora Cotton. Lynnise was born in Newark New Jersey. She was raised in New Jersey until the year of 1993 when her parents decided it was time to move back to the south and Panama City, Fl. was their destination. Lynnise graduated from Rutherford High School in 1997 and went on to earn a B.S. Degree in Psychology in 2001 from the “Prestigious” Florida A&M University. Lynnise will be starting the master’s Program in the fall of 2020. Lynnise worked as a Motivational Support Specialist from 2004 until the summer of 2019. Lynnise is now a Victim/Family Advocate for the Gulf Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.

Lynnise has been involved with youth ministry since the age of 3 and as she grew older she gained a passion for children within herself. She became a youth advisor as a teen and began serving and leading with the youth choir and youth activities of her then local church. Her passion for dance came during her teenage years as she would spend countless hours watching K&K Mime Ministry. Lynnise started dancing later in life with her cousin Aventer Monique Cotton Gray. Lynnise ministered her first praise dance to Gregory O’ Quinn’s “I Told the Storm”. From that moment she began worshipping and serving with her newly found passion for dance. When a song would minister to her spirit she would minister that song to her church congregation. She then started a dance ministry at her church and started teaching 6 young ladies.

Lynnise had a desire to bring the art of dance and creativity to her hometown of Panama City, Fl.  Real worship in dance ministry was necessary and she was honored to serve and give back to her community. God laid the vision upon her heart to open a dance studio. She is now the Owner and Creative Director of Life-N-Motion Dance Studio. She is also the Public Relations Representative and Creative Director of Dance Kraze “All Charmed Up” Dance Studio.

Lynnise has been together for 23 years but married 14 years to Minister Terry Morning. Together they serve as the Youth Minister and Youth Leaders of New Bethel Baptist Church in Panama City, Fl. They have two children 9-year-old Ms. T’Relynn Morning who has now been dancing since the age of 3 and 7-year-old Master Ly’Terry Morning.
