Tamera Brown

Tamera Brown is known for her passion, drive, and excellence in dance. Although she was considered a late bloomer to dance, Tamera had an undeniable fire that fueled her hunger to greatness. Tamera started dancing her senior year in high school. And at the tender age of 17 Tamera felt the pull and call to start a youth dance ministry at her home church In Atlanta, Ga. 

A few years after graduating high school Tamera pursued her dream and returned to school to further her education in dance. She auditioned and was accepted to The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. In May 2005 she graduated with honors receiving her BFA in Modern Dance Performance. While at UARTS Tamera received training in Ballet, Modern, Jazz, African, Tap, Pedagogy, and Dance Composition.

Tamera 20+ years of experience. She was a member of llstyle and Peace Productions, served as The Director of Dance at Freedom Baptist Church - Philadelphia, Pa,  returned as the Director of Dance at her home church, Lead Teacher at Conservatory of Dance – Decatur, GA,  performed in Black Nativity with True Colors Theatre in Atlanta, Ga, choreographed the musical Baptized by Fire with Pam Gardner,  a member and rehearsal director of Amazing Grace with Kenya Griffin in Atlanta, Ga. Education Arts Coordinator and Director of Dance for the summer camp and Teen Intensive at South Fulton Arts Center – Atlanta, GA. Dance Instructor with Creative Movement and Dance – Atlanta, GA. And Dance member and leader with Reign Dance Company with Aventer Gray.

Tamera is now a mother of two and the founder of Project Reset The Conversation. Tamera also now serves as the Ministry Arts Supervisor – Director of Purpose Dance Ministry of Relentless Church in Greenville, SC under Pastors John and Aventer Gray. She is honored for this opportunity and will lead with the same drive, passion, and fire God placed with in her 25 years ago when dance first found her.
